Partnerships

lavenderIn the driest state of the driest inhabitable continent, we recognise that keeping a beautiful waterwise garden is no mean feat.

Gardening is an important part of the quality of life in our communities. It is also essential to tourism, recreation and leisure, which enrich South Australia’s lifestyle.

Outdoor water use makes up more than 40% of residential water consumption, and research indicated great savings can be made if waterwise gardening techniques are applied.

We’re working with the Nursery & Garden Industry of South Australia and the Botanic Gardens to educate the community and showcase best practice waterwise gardens.

These key partnerships ensure that government and private enterprises work together to the benefit of all South Australians.
